Poetry & Spirit

One inspiration for the revival of poetry springs from the green movement, beckoning the new generation to spirituality. This turn toward spirituality is not a result of some new religious revival but of the ennui precipitated from the extreme consumption that has turned humans selfish restless and violent. The very rejection of consumption implies discovery of a poetic tao. The other inspiration comes from the growing influence of feminism which too is imbued with poetic vision .
