This Punjabi play looks at human existence at the lowest strata, shows how a family reduces from labor to begging and begging to garbage eating. 

The play can be performed as a full-length play or as three one-act plays separately. The manuscript of Stair to nowhere was read in Vancouver Punjabi writers Forum meetings but has not been produced yet.
